The Alvah Stone launches “Alvah 5.0” with new look, feel, and tastes at the beloved Bookmill restaurant and bar; wins big in Best of the Valley 2019.

April 2019 marks five successful years for the Alvah Stone Restaurantand Bar. To celebrate, the restaurant has reimagined elements of its menus, décor and uniforms. The new “Alvah 5.0” dinner menu has been redesigned to provide an even more rewarding encounter with Alvah classics and soon-to-be-favorites. Starting with the evolution of our dinner menu to a “sharing and small plates” platform, we are re-envisioning each part of our “Authentic American” experience. While the diverse and deep flavors that we have become known for remain the backbone of our brand, we are now able to offer our beloved menu in smaller portions with lower prices.

Diners can also choose “The Alvah Stone Feast” at $39 per person—a multi-course experience curated by our kitchen for the whole table to enjoy together. The Feast is the perfect way to enjoy a wide variety of the menu at an incredible value surrounded by friends and family. The lunch, brunch, cocktail and wine menus have received their own updates.

There are more exciting changes to come, but the hallmarks of the Alvah Stone dining experience will remain unchanged: Best-of-the-Valley dining and drinks, crafted and served with great care among the unparalleled beauty of the historic mill building on the waterfall. Oh, and the deck is open!

The Alvah Stone is also very proud to announce that the restaurant and bar has won an unprecedented eight “Best of the Valley” awards in 2019:

First Place
Best Creative American Restaurant
Best Service/Waitstaff
Most Romantic
Best Desserts

Runner Up

Third Place
